I was going to say "things have been …" lately, but I couldn't think of anything to put in place of the elipsis. The best I can come up with is "extreme" but I don't even think I like that. I've been up too late too many days in a row with no sign of letting up. I haven't studied for tomorrow night at all. I had to create 6 new netscreen configs today to be shipped out tomorrow, but they are untested which makes me a little nervous. The last partially tested config sent to Carlsbad didn't work, and they're still down. I told them to move it outside of their firewall though and that should clear up the problem. The management thinks I need to go there and are all freaking out over my hair. James said yesterday "wouldn't you like to make it black instead?" If I were interested in making my hair black I would have done it 10 years ago. Other than that I'm really enjoying it. I think it'll end up that I won't get to keep it as long as I like. That sucks. Lance sent me an e-mail today explaining "the issue" with blue hair, but he didn't ask me to change it. I find that interesting. We'll see how it goes. I'm also building another mixer for the VPN stuff. I feel that I've met with resistance from the yeti at every step. Maybe he's being selfish over his code, maybe he's just lagging a little and I'm seeing it as active resistance. I've had so many problems getting this thing going it's not even funny. No matter, the thing's almost done (should be done by Friday (cross your fingers)) so I won't have to worry about it anymore.
I got flogged with spam today. Four regulars, and 3 on the site. I'm seriously getting sick of the spam on the site. IP banning seems to have little effect so I may have to resort to disabling comments. I hope it doesn't come to that, even though nobody that I'd appreciate comments from is commenting. Maybe I should disable them just because of lack of use, but I found that while in Memphis having the feedback from people in my blog was a nice way to balance my own thoughts when I start thinking crazy.
Ug. So much is going through my mind right now. The new sound platform at church is causing problems. It squeeks when even I step on it, so when someone larger like Alan goes up there it's going to make tons of noise. We're going to have to tear the whole thing out tonight and try to add some insulation between the channel and the wall to try to eliminate the noise. This is going to be nuts.
